Founders and the Management Team
Mr. Kobi Baran -Founding Partner, Director of Product Development
Creativity, combined with more than 18 years of experience in managing a professional gardening business, allowed Mr. Baran to initiate and develop the Smart Sprinkler System.
A hard working professional, Mr. Baran is a valuable source of hands-on experience in professional gardening. His knowledge provides our company with an excellent inside look on the entire Lawn & Garden Industry in all its details.
Mr. Yuval Nemirovsky – Founder & C.E.O.
Yuval Nemirovsky was at the roots of developing and establishing the CWST ltd, together with Mr. Kobi Baran.
After retiring from a military career Yuval was managing a North American desk in the Military Aircraft Group at Israeli Aviation Industries (IAI) LTD.
Mr. Nemirovsky holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Haifa University, Haifa, Israel, and MBA from OAC (Ono Academic College), Kiryat-Ono, Israel
Mr. Yoel Zur – Former Director of R&D
Mr. Zur (RIP) brought to CWST ltd. almost 50 years of experience in engineering and R&D. Among the products, developed, co-developed and patented by Mr. Yoel Zur are agricultural equipment and facilities, automation and innovations in diary installations, aquaculture equipment, controlling valves for hydraulic taps, solar energy receivers and heat pumps, body care and hair epilating devices, irrigation and irrigation controlling devices and equipment.
Mr. Yoel Zur initiated and participated in developing of sprayers and mechanical harvesting equipment; founding and developing of Underground Drip-Irrigation equipment plant; establishing of “DIUK Hydraulica” plant, in which Mr. Zur served as a General Manager and R&D manager; co-founding of the number of manufacturing plants for The Galilee Development Authority; managing of Engineering and Development in Lordan Partnership. Mr. Zur served as Manager of Purchase and Production Facilities development in Mepro Epilady ltd plant, served as the Head of Development Department at the plant; R&D Manager for Dan Sprinklers, Kibbutz Dan; R&D Manager for Galcon Plant.
Mr. Zur has completed the studies in Agricultural and Machinery Engineering in Rupin College, Netanya, and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. A team of talented engineers finalized Mr. Zur’s invention to be a leading product that would impact the irrigation market.
Mr. Avihai Sinmner – C.T.O.
Mr. Simner brings to CWST Ltd. more than 20 years of diverse experience in Engineering. Mr. Simner holds MBA in Marketing and BS.c in Engineering, specializing in Thermodynamics. Mr. Simner served at “Smart Sense” as a Senior Project Management consultant, Business Dev pursuing “Industry 4.x”. At Morag Consulting Mr. Simner was a Senior Organization Consultant – Business Development. Mr. Simner led the Smart Sprinkler development from a model into a prototype and than into a product.
